Cleana is committed to protecting children, vulnerable adults, and all users of the Platform.
Scope
Applies to all Cleaners, Customers, employees and contractors of Cleana.
Cleaner vetting
Identity verification, right-to-work check, Basic or Enhanced DBS check as appropriate, references and insurance verification.
Reporting concerns
Anyone with a safeguarding concern should email info@cleanalimited.co.uk immediately and, where there is a risk to life or of immediate harm, contact 999. Concerns about children should be reported to the local authority's children's services team or the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
Confidentiality
Concerns will be handled confidentially and shared only with those who need to know to protect the individual at risk.
Training
All employees with safeguarding responsibilities complete annual safeguarding training.
Review
This Policy is reviewed annually.
