Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: June 2026

Made under section 54, Modern Slavery Act 2015. Cleana Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking in our own business and our supply chain.

Our business

Cleana operates a digital marketplace for cleaning services in the United Kingdom.

Our policies

Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing Policy, Cleaner Agreement, and Recruitment Policy all reflect our commitment to acting ethically. Cleaners must demonstrate the right to work in the UK and are not paid below the National Living Wage equivalent on the hourly rates they set.

Due diligence

All Cleaners go through identity verification and DBS checks. We monitor for indicators of labour exploitation (e.g. controlled bank accounts shared across multiple "Cleaners").

Training

Staff are trained to recognise the signs of modern slavery and how to report concerns.

Reporting

Concerns can be reported to info@cleanalimited.co.uk or to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
